The End is the Beginning is the End – Smashing Pumpkins

In one of my Async TI4 games, I’ve just decided to become the guy that provides the soundtrack for the game. One of my rivals in this game and I had a major battle that would determine who could win (it was not me) and I was reminded of this song. It’s so heavy and dramatic. Definitely feels like the runup to some apocalyptic battle.

CONFLICT DLC – HEALTH

I’ve been bumping the singles from this album since they came out so I was really stoked to get to spin the rest of it. The whole thing is great. It’s brutally depressing and very, very danceable, which is how I think industrial music should be. Every review I have read mentions the word “cyberpunk”, which is fair, but it mostly just feels very timely for the doomscrolling era.

Let God Sort Em Out – Clipse

Probably my favorite album of 2025. This is another no-skip. I honestly think that Pusha-T is one of the best hip-hop lyricists of all time. Everywhere you look in this album there’s some clever wordplay that sounds both intelligent and hard as fuck. “Beat the system with chains and whips”
